Located on a 40 acre quarter horse ranch and sitting at an elevation of approximately 1,000 ft. above sea  level, this 2nd story Bunkhouse features all the amenities required for a comfortable stay as well as offering panoramic views of the beautiful Arbuckle area including exceptional sunrises and sunsets, hence its apropos name “View of the Sun”!
The family friendly area in front of the Bunkhouse offers a charcoal grill, fire pit, horseshoe pits, picnic tables, and various other outdoor games including corn hole boards!
Those looking for rest and relaxation can curl up with a good book, play cards, board games, or just enjoy the peace that comes from being with family, friends, and Mother Nature.  The owners, Kurt & Ev like to say “We’re not new and fancy—we’re old and comfortable—simply enjoying and trying to share the blessings God gives us every day.”

fully equipped kitchen and dining area. All cookware, dishes, paper products, linens, and towels are provided.

From the deck off the West bedroom you can relax and watch the beautiful sunsets or have a morning cup of coffee listening to the birds serenading you!

Rates:

$150.00 for 2 guests (2 night minimum)

$10.00 for each additional guest/night (maximum 6 guests)

Pet Policy:

Pets are allowed with PRIOR NOTIFICATION (max 2 pets)  A one time $25.00 pet fee will be charged.

Reservations are needed if bringing a horse(s). DO NOT JUST SHOW UP WITH A HORSE. A current Coggins certificate must be shown.

We gladly extend a 10% discount to military or law enforcement members. 

AVAILABLE STARTING SPRING OF 2019: Guests can reserve Miss Kitty's Party/Game Barn. TV with DVD player for movies and games, ping-pong table, tables for board games, cards, etc.  PLEASE check for hours of availability and cost.
